Community Needs

Dear Church on the Path family,

I am SO grateful for this congregation. You continue to show the heart of Christ in the simplest and most meaningful ways—one can of food, one bottle of shampoo, one act of kindness at a time.

Even though some assistance programs have resumed, the need in our community remains very real. Families are still stretching paychecks, seniors are still choosing between medicine and groceries, and too many of our neighbors are wondering how they’ll make it through the month. Your generosity helps close that gap.

We are continuing to collect:

  • Non-perishable foods

  • Hygiene products (toothpaste, soap, deodorant, wipes, feminine products, etc.)

I will personally deliver everything we receive each week to the Grace UMC Food Bank on Monday, right after men’s Bible study.

If you’ve been thinking, “I wish there was something simple I could do this week to bless someone,” this is it. Add a couple of items to your shopping list, or grab something from your pantry to share with a neighbor in need.

Thank you for being a congregation that doesn’t just speak gratitude—you live it.

With appreciation and love,

Rev. Brent
